Conrad Iwata

Conrad Iwata (カナちゃんのパパ) is Kana's father and Cindy Iwata's husband. Conrad is close friends with Laura's dad Forrest, although he and Forrest tend to compete about frivolous things, and especially their daughters. He is fairly calm and collected, unlike the more neurotic and cautious Forrest. He is also willing to try new opportunities, like giant roller coasters and swimming with dolphins.^[1] He is very interested in outer space, especially aliens.^[2] He tends to fight with his brother Jack Iwata.

Trivia[]

Both Conrad and Cindy are seemingly unnamed in the Japanese dub, generally only being referred to as Kana's parents; however, Jack Iwata sometimes refers to Conrad under the nickname "Dai-chan" (大ちゃん).
