Gelato (ジェラードちゃん) is a hamster who appears in some of the Japanese episodes. She is a playful and energetic "princess" who lives in an ice cream truck.
Character description
Gelato is a Ham-Ham who claims to be not from Earth, but from a magical place in the clouds. Gelato describes this place as very "fluffy", also claiming to be the princess of this place. When the Ham-Hams met her, however, she was living in an ice cream truck with her owner, Jirō.
Gelato is shown to have a crush on Boss, who has a strong crush on her as well. She seems in love with Boss from the start, and when they regroup with the rest of the Ham-Hams, Gelato announces that they are in love and that Boss will become her prince, to which Boss is ecstatic. The two play happily for the rest of the day; but eventually, Gelato has to return home. Boss is very upset when Gelato leaves; she says to Boss she won't ever forget her prince.
