Goldie Houston (浪花 都) is the owner of a convenience store and the mother of Zack. She is also the owner of Howdy, as well as Tattles.
Goldie is very good friends with Curtis, whose store is right next to hers. She is often consumed by her work, and has little time for Zack as a result, but tries to spend time with him whenever she can. Much like Howdy and Dexter, she and Curtis sometimes argue about things, but deep down they are still friends. She is a big fan of the Hanshin Tigers baseball team (something not carried over to the dub).
