Maria (マリアちゃん, Maria-chan) is Bijou's owner. She belongs to a rich family and therefore lives in a mansion. She was born in France but had to be moved to Japan. She loves to keep Bijou's cage as clean and pretty as possible. She is also a talented pianist. She and Laura only became friends in season 2 (they never meet in season 1).
