My Name is Hamtaro! (ぼくハム太郎なのだ) is the first episode of Tottoko Hamutaro Hai!!.

Plot Summary

The episode starts with Hamtaro telling the viewer about himself. He decides to go play at the Clubhouse, so he jumps out of his cage and slides down the drainpipe. While he's running to the Clubhouse, a panicked Oxnard bumps into him. Oxnard tells Hamtaro he found some really incredible seeds, but he doesn't know where they are exactly. Oxnard takes him to the forest where he left a pedal as a marker, but they're not there. Hamtaro and Oxnard decide to look for the seeds, and start digging tunnels. They bump into each other and decide this is not the right place. They see another pedal and decide to dig there, but they aren't there either. Hamtaro and Oxnard dig wherever a pedal is, thinking that's the marker Oxnard left, but they still can't find them. Eventually Hamtaro and Oxnard get tired and conclude that the seeds are nowhere. Oxnard starts crying, and Hamtaro says someone might of found them and ate them. Oxnard continues crying, and Hamtaro looks up and notices they're under a bunch of cherry blossom trees. Hamtaro and Oxnard play under the trees, and Hamtaro unknowingly runs up a tree. Hamtaro falls down the tree, hitting Oxnard and sending both of them flying. Conveniently, they both land where Oxnard buried the seeds. Hamtaro and Oxnard celebrate and invite all the Ham-Hams to the spot to enjoy the seeds. Hamtaro says that even if Oxnard is gullible and prone to cry, he is "a very important friend".
