Nande (なんでくん, Nande-kun) is a Ham-Ham who appears in some of the Japanese episodes and the Japanese Hamtaro game Nazo Nazo Q. He is constantly asking "Why?" about everything.

In episode 278 "Nande Returns!", he travles with Jingle for a few days and seems to look up to him. Jingle is the only hamster to not become irritated with Nande always asking "Why?", because he always has an answer to Nande's questions.

His name comes from the Japanese word 'nande', which means 'why?/how?'.
