Overview
Here is a basic overview of some rules that apply to this wiki.
Editing Rules
Some common editing mistakes that may result in administrative action:
- With a few select exceptions, no fanon or fan-made content should be added to the main wiki pages. However, this type of content is allowed in the "Discuss" area.
- All wiki content must relate to Hamtaro. Do not add any off-topic pages, and try not to engage in heavily off-topic discussion (including on message walls/talk pages). The wiki should not be used as a place to "talk", unless it directly relates and contributes to the wiki content itself.
- In the case of a removal of a wiki edit by an administrator, do not repeatedly add the edit back. The reasoning for the removal will either apply to an above rule, or be stated in the edit's description.
Blocking
User blocks will occur due to reasons such as the following:
- Users repeatedly adding back their administrator-deleted content
- Creating sockpuppet accounts to circumvent an already existing block
- Excessively removing information, or blanking out pages entirely
- Frequent off-topic edits and discussion
- Any form of spam, gibberish, or other forms of trolling
