The Official Hamtaro Handbook is an English adaptation and combination of the first two Japanese Hamtaro fanbooks. It was published in two sizes, the common large bookstore version, and a smaller sample version that was often packaged with the DVDs and VHS.
It was released by both VIZ Media and Chuang Yi.
Description[]
The Hamtaro gang -- ten-year-old Laura, her inquisitive pet golden hamster Hamtaro, and the infamous Ham-Ham crew -- gets the royal treatment in this colorful guide. The book includes character biographies, a guide to the first 26 episodes of the series, the words to the theme song, and even a lesson in how to do the official Hamtaro Dance. It also has a dictionary of the Hamtaro language, a map of the town, stickers, and a few Hamtaro comics.

- On Penelope's page, there is a typo where it talks about Kylie stating that her best friend June is the owner of Penelope and not Pashmina. When copying over the fact box, they forgot to change the name.
